Ricketts Glenn Bouldering

Directions: From the upper parking lot above the falls, walk the falls trail south about 15 minutes. The main bouldering is at the “Midway Crevasse” and the cliff nearby.
Jamison Hill Road Bouldering: Find Jamison Hill Road across from the upper falls parking lot–see above–and drive west on this road. Boulders will be visible up on the hillside for about a mile. Park only at authorized pull-offs.

Overview: A small bouldering wall off the main upper falls trail has some mediocre bouldering. Although the main draw here is the ice climbing–which is only so-so, you can do a few good problems if you are out for a nature hike: hiking here is excellent with spectacular waterfall vistas. Perhaps the best boulder problems is a problem called Hobo City. A great V2 that sit-starts out a long roof crack. There is a ton of bouldering off of nearby Jamison Hill Road. You can easily spot the large sandstone cubs off the road and up the hillside.I developed only a few handfuls of problems at these spots and there is a ton of FA potential off Jamison Hill road so come and develop to your hearts content.
