This area is known for about two dozen classics. Myself and a few other scranton climbers were active here in the 80s and 90s. George Peterson and Al Piseneschi were also active with route development. The area is mostly in the shade with pleasant views of the Abingtons and nearby mountains.
Park at Summit Point apartments across from the mall and keep out of residents spots. Hike from the farthest back lot to the powerline about 5 minutes from the lot. Respect the apartment renters and the private land. I have never had a problem here in 25 years but have always maintained a low profile.
